Client / Parent Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions establish the rules and responsibilities governing the relationship between Abenezer Tutoring, the Client/Parent/Guardian, and the Student.

By registering for or purchasing tutoring services from Abenezer Tutoring, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

Abenezer Tutoring provides educational and tutoring services according to the program, subject, schedule, and package agreed upon with the Client.

The company will make reasonable efforts to provide qualified and appropriate teachers based on the student's educational needs and the availability of teachers. Teacher assignments may be changed when reasonably necessary due to availability, scheduling, performance, or other operational reasons.

3. Pricing and Payment

All tutoring fees must be paid according to the official price communicated by Abenezer Tutoring management.

Clients must:

  • Pay the agreed tutoring fee on time.
  • Use the official payment method provided by Abenezer Tutoring.
  • Keep payment records or receipts where applicable.
  • Inform the company if there is any payment issue.

Clients must NOT:

  • Make unauthorized payments to teachers.
  • Request unofficial discounts from teachers.
  • Ask teachers to provide tutoring privately at a lower price.
  • Attempt to change the agreed payment arrangement without contacting management.

4. No Bypassing Abenezer Tutoring

A Client who is introduced to a Teacher through Abenezer Tutoring must not intentionally bypass the company in order to arrange private tutoring directly with that Teacher.

This includes:

  • Hiring the Teacher privately.
  • Paying the Teacher directly to avoid company fees.
  • Moving lessons outside the company without authorization.
  • Asking the Teacher to provide a cheaper private arrangement.
  • Encouraging the Teacher to leave Abenezer Tutoring and work privately with the Client.
  • Using a Teacher's personal contact information to arrange unauthorized private lessons.
  • Continuing private lessons with a Teacher introduced through Abenezer Tutoring after ending the company's service, without written authorization.

5. Communication with Teachers

Teachers may communicate with students and parents for legitimate educational purposes, including lesson scheduling, homework, assignments, academic progress, and lesson-related matters.

Clients should not pressure teachers to discuss:

  • Private pricing.
  • Teacher salary or commission.
  • Internal company matters.
  • Confidential company information.
  • Other clients or internal disputes.

6. Scheduling and Punctuality

Clients and students are expected to attend scheduled lessons on time. The Client should provide reasonable notice if the Student cannot attend. Repeated lateness or missed lessons may be subject to the company's cancellation or makeup-lesson policy.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If a Client needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, they should notify Abenezer Tutoring as early as possible. Last-minute cancellations or repeated missed lessons may not qualify for a makeup lesson or refund.

If a Teacher is unable to attend, Abenezer Tutoring will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the lesson, provide a replacement Teacher where appropriate, or provide another reasonable solution.

8. Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Abenezer Tutoring management. Teachers do not have authority to approve refunds, discounts, credits, or changes to payment arrangements. Refund eligibility depends on the tutoring package, lessons already provided, cancellation circumstances, company refund policy, and applicable law.

The Student is expected to participate respectfully and seriously in lessons.

Students should:

  • Respect their Teacher.
  • Attend lessons prepared.
  • Complete assigned work.
  • Avoid disruptive behavior.

Serious misconduct may result in suspension or termination of services.

11. Parent / Guardian Responsibilities

Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the Student, including age, grade level, academic needs, learning objectives, scheduling information, and contact information.

12. Student Safety and Professional Boundaries

Abenezer Tutoring expects all Teacher-Student interactions to remain professional and education-related. Parents/Guardians should report any serious concern regarding a Teacher's conduct to management immediately.

13. Online Lessons

For online tutoring, the Client is responsible for providing a suitable device, reliable internet access, appropriate software, and a reasonably quiet learning environment. Technical problems caused by the Client's equipment may not qualify for a refund or replacement lesson.

14. Recording Lessons

Clients and Students must not record, photograph, screenshot, distribute, or publish a Teacher's lesson, voice, image, teaching materials, or other content without appropriate permission.

Abenezer Tutoring will take reasonable measures to protect Client and Student information. Clients must respect the privacy of Teachers and other Clients.

16. Educational Results

Abenezer Tutoring and its Teachers will make reasonable efforts to provide high-quality tutoring. However, academic results cannot be guaranteed because student performance may depend on factors including attendance, student effort, homework completion, previous academic level, examination difficulty, learning environment, consistency of practice, and individual learning ability.

17. Teacher Requests and Changes

Clients may communicate preferences regarding a Teacher, subject, teaching style, schedule, or learning requirements. However, Abenezer Tutoring cannot guarantee that a particular Teacher will always be available. The company may assign another qualified Teacher when necessary.

18. Complaints and Disputes

Clients are encouraged to report concerns directly to Abenezer Tutoring management. The company may review communications, speak with the Teacher, review attendance records, offer a replacement Teacher, reschedule lessons, or take disciplinary action where necessary.

21. Emergency or Serious Incidents

If a serious incident occurs involving a Student, Teacher, Client, or other person connected with the tutoring service, Abenezer Tutoring may take immediate reasonable steps to protect the safety and interests of those involved.
